Introducing the Crittenden Pilgrimage Bursary

A message from our fellow Executive Committee Member: Jeff Crittenden

We have some exciting news! Katherine and I are getting married this winter. As longtime pilgrims and leaders, pilgrimage has deeply shaped our lives — offering clarity, transformation, and a sense of belonging we cherish.

To celebrate this new chapter in our lives, we’ve created the Crittenden Pilgrimage Bursary in partnership with the United Church of Canada Foundation.

This bursary will provide financial support for those undertaking human-powered pilgrimages — whether walking, cycling, paddling, wheelchairing, and more. Each year, together with the Foundation, we’ll select recipients who are ready to deepen their lives through this sacred path.

Our hope is to help others experience the same powerful journeys that have meant so much to us.We warmly invite you to join us — by donating or simply sharing this message.

Every contribution, big or small, helps open the way for someone else. All donations receive a tax receipt.
